I saw some ads in the TV guide for a hearing aid that cant be seen and has no batteries. I thought I should check it out for seniors. No business address given, but a local phone number was. I rang that a couple of times during normal business hours and it rang out.  Just in case they advertise up your way too, I’d suggest its SUSS!!!

hello Ray, thanks for checking out the hearing aid provider – their spiel about no batteries and can’t be seen would sound wonderful for those who need to wear hearing aids but hopefully everyone will check the ad out and make an informed decision 🙂

Sounds like the “free hearing test” my girlfriend attended.

Came out of the test and said I signed something, was that for Medicare?

No the answer came. It was for new hearing aids and the cost is $8000.

Well that was a shock, the order was  quickly cancelled.  The free hearing test was organised by a grandchild for her, an the only reason she attended was that they kept ringing and ringing until she agreed to a “free test”.

Her hearing has not changed since her last test 2 years ago.
