This world sounds and looks in a bad way. On our ABC news this morning every single item was bad news , either our Government or overseas all droning on about some mess, then crime, then local unsettling ghastly news.
Honestly one wonders if we should bother making an effort to get up to face another dreary day, so blow, lets go down and have a coffee to try and cheer up, our favourite place was packed and incredibly noisy we drank our coffee and departed quickly.
A quick look at headlines usually suffices me (just in case there is something worthwhile.)
Coffee is a great pick-me-up – in moderation – and its usually possible to enjoy it given we are not tied to specific times to do so. You may need to explore other outlets Betty.Betty, your posting has saddened me, I know things are bad and not at all like they used to be, but there are plenty of good things and good places to visit, try some of the country towns, at first it seems as though there isn’t much happening in them, but you’d be surprised, in those places people tend to help each other and watch out for each other, the atmosphere in small places are far better than the bigger places where no-one even talks to their neighbours
