While drinking coffee at a table with others, I won a packet of cream biscuits in a raffle, and put them on the table in front of me.
Someone said, “I love that type of biscuit”.
Trying to be funny, I put my arm around the packet and drew it close to me.
In the process, I knocked my coffee cup off the table, spilling coffee all over the floor.
Is this a sign of early dementia?

Of course not Ted, just usual male clumsiness. You shouldn’t be eating cream sweet biscuits, they’ll rot your teeth, make you fat & raise your cholesterol! 🙂

Ted just be reassured that we all at some stage have the same problems  of being abit clumsy and not looking at what we are doing properly.

Although cuddling the biscuits  is  not on.

Subconsciously, you didn’t like being there.

    Change your recreational activities?

    Explore new avenues of interest?

    Report back?

🙄 Good grief Williamthebold … I imagine it was a funny biscuit moment … not the precursor for an epiphany on how to live life … or an excuse for gratuitous philosophy and lifestyle advice.

Jen, please don’t take me quite so seriously.
Most of what I say is meant to be light-hearted.
That doesn’t mean it can’t have a serious under-current, but most times it is said with twinkling eye and tongue in cheek.
I would be horrified if what I said was the cause of even a morsel of distress.
With a bad report card, father xmas might well pass me by this year.
Or worse still, I might find myself rostered on for baby-sitting duties.
At my high school I was told my humour was very ‘dry’.
    Seems it still is.
Thank you for pointing it out.
I will try to make it less so in future.
But I might be fighting a battle I cannot win.

    Thanks folks.
However, I didn’t expect a simple biscuit to produce so much deeply intellectual discussion.
