There has been alot of talk about house prices lately  and many a list of good suburbs with  very high prices where new home buyers are priced out, then there are the lower price suburb lists, but I find it strange that many suburbs I know of that are  reasonable in price, with public transport are never mentioned.

Real estate seems to work in cycles and trends.   Where I live used to be considered the wrong side of the tracks.   The average house price now is $1.7 million.

It’s interesting to see some suburbs which are relatively close to the beach, were not that long ago, considered very seedy.   They are flocking to them now.

If one lives near even just a trickle of water, but it’s called a creek, you can name your price.  All in all, I feel very sorry for young couples trying to get into the market now.
