Movie Audience Moments

    What is your favourite movie audience moment? I have two:

    When Paul Newman was alive at the end of ‘The Sting’ the audience clapped and cheered.

    But when the creature burst out of the guys chest in ‘Alien’ everybody screamed. Not me, of course, I was much to brave!



    I think the shower scene from Psycho still works for me. Even though we all know the scene there is still a shriek from audiences as “mother”draws the shower curtains back.Its still screened in Hitchcock festivals and it still packs a wallop!
    I still love the opening scene of the alps and the way the camera pans down on Julie Andrews in The Sound f Music.
