Just had a good laugh with Salina’s post about the “hero of the dish” ingredient.
With the greatest of respect and good humour to all the cooks out there it reminds me of, in another sphere of activity, “arts bollocks”. “Cooking bollocks” doesn’t have quite have the same ring to it though.
Must check the term with daughter chef.
Of course, I’m the sort of person that chuckled when I heard that the Library in the local school was now called the “resource centre”.
